Slayer julkaisee syyskuussa Repentless-nimisen pitkäsoittonsa. Levyn kansitaiteesta on vastannut Marcelo Vasco ja se on nähtävissä alla.
Levyn nimikkoraita julkaistaan singlenä perjantaina. Kyseessä on Kerry Kingin tribuutti Jeff Hannemanille ja se kulki työnimellä HannemAnthem.
Village Voicen toimittaja kysyi aihetta sivuten Kingiltä, että onko Hannemanin henki kulkenut vielä mukana. King pamautti tyylilleen uskollisena: ”Jeff on madonruokaa. Kun kuolet, sinut pistetään multiin.”
Internetin syvissä riveissä ja jopa Slayer-fanien keskuudessa kommentista on noussut myrsky vesilasissa. Mielensä pahoitus on toki trendikästä, mutta emme pidättele hengitystä todistusaineistoa Hannemanin hengestä odotellessa.
